Most of the knowledge I’ve accrued around my training comes from men in my gym (and Instagram). My male coaches are an incredible source of wisdom, from nutrition before and after a jiujitsu competition weigh in, to weightlifting. But, when it comes to muscle recovery, there are some key differences between men and women that aren’t often spoken about. Understanding these differences can really help tailor your fitness routine for the best results.
