A new benchmark in women’s grappling was set by Polaris on June 28th in Swansea Arena, Wales. With their first-ever women’s teams, Polaris pitted European and North American squads of female grapplers head-to-head. It was everything we hoped for, showcasing elite female jiu-jitsu.

Team North America featured Helena Crevar, Brianna Ste-Marie, Elizabeth Mitrovic, Alex Enriquez, Taylor Hishaw, and Alanis Santiago. Their European counterparts were captained by Nia Blackman and included Margot Ciccarelli, Sula-Mae Lowenthal, Ane Svendsen, Josefine Modig, and Selma Vik.
